Christians we feel it is important not to just sit in a pew but to
actually IMPACT our Community and World here are a few of the things we
are involved with at this time.
Within Crossroads
There are many different opportunities waiting within the walls of
Crossroads. We have teams of hospitality workers, greeters,
cleaners, servers and many more. To find out how you

Community
Crossroads Local Missions
- Our goal is to help
Sullivan county residents with minor house repairs, clean up, yard
work, etc. This is provided at no cost.
Meth Group- This group supplies
clothing and care for families dealing with meth problems. We also
send children and adults to camps and provide education about abuse.
P.A.L - (Positive
Attitude For Life) Crossroads has a dedicated group of
volunteers that have lunch at Sullivan Elementary School on a weekly
basis. Our goal is to have a positive effect on these children
and show
them that adults love and care about them.
Crossroads Care Group
- This special team provides a noon meal for the folks at the
high rise on a monthly basis. Please contact Beth Robbins at
(812) 268-1863 if you are interested in this ministry.

States
Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast.
Crossroads has taken three mission trips to share Christ's love
through clean up and building efforts. Twice we went to Mobile and Bayou La Batre, Alabama working
with outreach Mobile and once to Gretna, Louisiana, a suburb of New
Orleans and worked with
Samaritan's Purse, an organization which
Franklin Graham is overseeing. It is very rewarding to reach out and
help people. It is amazing to get out of our comfort zones and
actually put our faith into action...it speaks volumes to the world
around us. At present we are always open to helping people where
ever the need may be.

Abroad
Building Nations: God has opened the doors for Crossroads to go
to Russia and Ukraine to open the doors of Christ. We have made trips
to Zhukovskiy, Orel, and Dmitrov in Russia. While visiting
these cities we preached crusades, visited and helped with clothing
and medical supplies for various orphanages and hospitals. We
were allowed to visit factories and schools and share what God has
done for us and what He can do for them...it was truly amazing! In the city of Zhukovskiy, we passed out 20,000 Bibles.
These people are hungry for God's word.
In
Ukraine
we did similar work. We went to the city of Poltava about five hours south of Kieve. We also went in to
the village of Supranovka and helped build a church. We have
since adopted this church and it's pastor. Pastor Peter and
his church are now our sister church who we support. Also, we
had part of our team in another village doing children's outreach.
We are working with Todd and Tammy Wilson and "Light 4
Life" ministries to help the people in Ukraine.

New Life for Haiti
-
Wonderful work being done down south! The Lord has been
working and preparing for more work to be done. Crossroads is
a partner in the work in Haiti. Eddie and Curt have both taken
separate trips for preparation and continued work there.
